I was born in 65 in a small town in central Cali. My pop owned his own business till he died in 97. I remember him telling me to go to college, and that being a small business owner was becoming tougher every year due to regulations at every level of government. He paid for my college fees, in cash, because on paper he had too many assets. Now, illegal aliens have access to financial aid for college.
If my pop was around today he would have plenty to say about the situation we find ourselves in. Thing is, he would have found away to keep the business successful.
As for vehicles? I still drive the Ford F-100 my pop bought new in 1974 Ranger for $3,200.450,00 plus miles. Third engine; 460ci and 10 miles to the gallon. Yup, we need to get the gubmint out of the way, and let small, American owned companies create an industry that produces $1.50 a gallon fuel. No matter what the hte filled liberals say, it can be done!
