Douglas Stewart over at Ameristroika brings us this good news. By now most know the end of coal production is coming soon if Obama and the EPA have their way.  U.S.Coal Industry-EPA Rule a setback for coal Now we learn, that it is not the only industry. From Doug Stewart:

I guess a small congrats is in order to the Obama administration. The first regulatory shakedown on marine equipment was a success. Fairbanks Morse Engines has been slapped with a $280,000 fine and has willingly “agreed” to spend upwards of half a million dollars “on an environmental project to resolve alleged violations of the Clean Air Act (CAA) and EPA’s marine diesel engine air rules”, according to the EPA’s report.:

Pollutant Impacts

No environmental harm resulted from the propulsion engines. The engines met EPA’s Tier 1 emission standards because they comply with international standards that pre-dated EPA’s Tier 1 emission standards.

Toga Toga! Almost Easter/Spring Break

I guess I will never grow up, I am a Toy’s R’Us kid, and a forever spring break college boy! The break is kinda a warm up for summer break: Watching tv till dawn, bbqing and drinking beer at times most folks are either leaving, or coming home from work. Tee times at 5:45am and bar times at …when ever.

I understand why pro baseball players never want to retire. Spring break, and summer vacation are vacuums, where time stands still. My only clock that I have to answer to is my belly’s, and my liver’s….oops my four dogs and four cats too.

Growing up is for suckers. When some folks are happy to settle for 1-2 week vacations from jobs that are 8 hour plus grinds, I would rather barely squeak by financially, because my free time has more worth than Trump’s, Buffet’s, and Gates combined. Give me a lawn chair, 40 cold beers, my dogs, Waylon Jennings on the rinky dink boom box, and life don’t get no better than that!

So Happy Easter too all.

Charles Krauthammer (video here) has a few choice words for our Constitutional Law Professor  part-time law lecturer in Chief:

“Here’s the president talking about respect for the law and implying there’s partisanship if the law is overturned. We all were witnesses to the oral hearings in which Obama’s case for the constitutionality of the law was utterly demolished to the point where one liberal observer called it a ‘train wreck,’” Charles Krauthammer said on FOX News’ “Special Report” this evening.

“It’s perfectly natural for a majority of the Court to side with the side that actually won the argument intellectually. That’s not partisanship, that’s logic. What is partisanship is when the four liberal justices are in such lockstep with the administration that they end up supporting the case that’s been utterly destroyed in an open argument and be humiliated,” Krauthammer said on the panel.

“Second, the president talks…

Democrats believe that Hispanics should have an open border, with immediate citizenship. What is wrong with this policy? Let’s see:

The Federal Government is the body that is responsible for Immigration and Naturalization and not one political party. Wait a minute; the Democrats controlled both Houses of Congress and the Presidency the first two years of Obama’s reign. Why didn’t they change the immigration policy then? Why indeed?

Our immigration issue is not just Hispanics. Every nation on earth used to have people that wanted to come here to live. If the Federal Government said that we needed one million people trained in certain fields of study and trades. What do we do when three million people cross our southern border illegally. Should we stop legal migration for an illegal one?

We had this discussion in 1986 when the USA decided to give amnesty to illegal aliens.

Immigration…

Find it interesting that many unemployed liberal, will rant about illegal doing jobs Americans wont? Then they complain that they can’t find work!

LEAVE IT TO OBAMA TO FIND YET ANOTHER WAY TO CIRCUMVENT FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAW

Liberals have always had a way with words. From “a woman’s right to choose,” (pro-abortion) to “undocumented workers,” (illegal aliens) to “fair share,” (wealth redistribution), they’re pretty damn crafty at obfuscating the true meaning or intent of their pet causes. Thankfully, you have the Rat to sift through the bull crap and tell it like it is.

This brings us to a new term recently rolled out by the Obama Regime: “Unlawful Presence Waivers.”

Seriously, O? Unlawful presence waivers? What’s next – “unlawful burglary waivers,” or “unlawful murder waivers”? If you’d put half the effort into actually working with Congress that you put into coming up with all the creative little ways to get around the Constitution and existing laws, perhaps you’d find yourself in better stead with the American people.

In its quest to implement…

1. Thou shalt not ever meet for the first time for more than coffee/drinks (i.e. something that thou could potentially get out of ASAP if thou’s date beith a total creeper).

  • When your potential match.com boyfriend asks you what you want to do, repeat after me: “Let’s plan on meeting for coffee/drinks and we’ll go from there.” This last phrase is key because it gives you the power to maximize the efficiency of your dating time. If this boy has no dating potential get the smallest drink you can (i.e. a shot of espresso…or Patron depending on just how bad the next 20 minutes are going to be), down it, cut your losses and go. However, if the guy turns out to be great, fully execute the “we’ll go from there” clause by having a…
