What makes two people who grow up in a similar environment become so politically different? This is very perplexing to me. Where I live here in central California, a candidate who I went to grade school with, remained in touch during our college years, and road tripped together a few times, is challenging the GOP incumbent, Jeff Denham. I am going to refrain from posting his name here, but he has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood and the CSEA. Just do a quick google search, and he will pop up.
Everyone who has spent more than one second reading my blog is fully aware that I am a very conservative Christian guy. I grew up in a conservative, two parent home. My pop owned his business, and mom stayed at home. The guy that I went to school with, partied with, and did typical guy stuff with all those years ago, had a very similar upbringing. So why did I see the light of the right he went to the darkness of the left?
I don’t have the answer. I don’t know why folks think that abortion is not murder. I don’t know why folks want to reward criminals with free citizenship. I don’t know why folks believe medical insurance and medical care is a right. I don’t see why folks don’t understand that the more government is involved in the private business sector, the more expensive it becomes and the quality declines.
As the election draws near, I will post some of the acts I witnessed first hand that he will have to answer for. I have been contacted by a chapter member of the GOP that wants to hear what I witnessed. I am a bit torn, Jeff Denham is not a conservative; he is pro amnesty and mandated healthcare guy. But he is not a progressive.

I believe the answer to ny question is simply, “to piss me off!” I was sitting in my front yard drinking beer with my little dog, Bill Willy. The dog loves to run the fence line and bark at everything that moves. He’s about 10 inches tall and weighs in at 11 pounds. This particular night, a young man is walking by, and Bill Willy is doing what he does best, and the idiot says, “Shut the fuck up.” Nice going dude. So I tell Bill Willy to “get-em”, and the dude replies to me the same eloquent phrase. Not smart. Beer in hand a spring out of my chair with some very strong language. Dude goes into to monkey fight mode….throwing hands in the air saying “come on cracker”. Really? So I say no problem, just quit backing up. Never seen somebody move so fast backwards in my life. Silly thing is, the further he got from me, the braver he became:) Then dude reaches into his saggy basketball shorts as if to grab a weapon. Idiot, it is easy to see there ain’t nothing but his hand, and small dreams in the pocket.
Why me? Why I am I an idiot magnet? Then it hits me; It takes folks like me to teach idiots like this they need to think about their actions before they act. I am sure this dude was scared all the way to chocolate chonies land. He is probably glad I was not the type that would shoot him…..but I am the type that would have roughed him up a bit. Something more idiots are in dire need of these days.

I have been attempting to stay away from anything political lately, but this thought shot through my cranium on the way to work: Chem weapons, if developed properly, are much more efficient and less destructive than conventional bombs and bullets. Plus, they are actually “Green Warfare.” It takes a lot less fossil fuels to rebuild after a chem attack than a regular or “smart bomb” raid.
I would think chemical weapons would be the weapon of choice in a civil war.
Just a tid-bit of information we are not hearing much about from Syria: There are two major gas pipelines that both Russia and ourselves are deeply interested in. Makes you go HMMM?

I shook your hand Mr. Denham, looked you in the eye and said I voted for you. I now realize you are a fruad. I will do everything in my power to educate people not to vote for you in the next election.
Read more here: http://www.modbee.com/2013/08/08/2853449/denham-talks-about-the-house-immigration.html#storylink=cpy
Denham met with many members of the informal group previously in June, about the time the U.S. Senate was passing its comprehensive immigration reform bill. He has publicly supported the sweeping legislation, but it has met roadblocks in the House. Many House members are looking at a more piecemeal approach to reform, tackling individual immigration issues in separate bills.

I have grown tired of seeing articles and television programming that focuses on the bad behaviors of people. Lets start with an obvious example: Aaron Hernandez NFL player, thug and murderer. His face and story is everywhere right now. Tim Tebow NFL player, same team as Hernandez, graduated from the same college, all around good guy, and Chritian…nothing but crickets! Unless somebody is knocking him for being too good of a guy.
I know this is nothing new, but my gosh, how many people follow this crap daily, but they don’t give a crap about our crumbling nation? IRS scandle…so what? Forced health care….so what? OK, you know where I am going with this.
Back to my happy place. I am looking forward to my golf season starting in February. Sounds like a long ways off, but it is not. The work year passes in a blink of an eye, as does my summer vacations. Some folks say this is a sign of old age, but I think it is more of a sign of realizing life ain’t all that bad when you focus on the good.

I can’t believe I an sayning this, but “thanks you Barry, and those who control you for targeting conservative white Christians.” I can now make the claim I am being assesed additional federal income tax penalities because I am a C.W.C. I don’t make a lot of money, but I apparently make enough to owe $2,000 more.
Just when I figure I am finally financially above water, I receieve the letter this past Saturday. Yes, Saturday; when all of the government offices are closed. Opened the letter at 12:30 pm. and was ready to blow something up by 12:31pm. I understand why people who make millions try their best to protect assest. My $2,000 bill was targeted to replace my truck’s engine. Now, the mechanic will not get a dime from me, and his profit will not be spent with any local merchants. If I made 60 million dollars, my taxes would be between 19-22 million? That generates a lot of income for others. It also allows people to secure their families’ futures for generations.
I am planning on meeting with the IRS this Wednesday. I am not expecting anything to go my way. I am eager to hear the expanation. I will also not drive to their office, beacuase I might just want to plow the car through the doors after I leave $2,000 poorer!

I am a Conservative in the CSEA. I have been warning fellow members for years to stop voting the “Union Line”. I too was called all kinds of names and laughed at. Guess what? Many members realized I was correct when I told them to compare check stubs from just a year ago to their most recent. Sadly, the union’s top leadership is either ignorant, greedy, or both. They are claiming victory from the past elections. Won’t be long until California public unions get hammered by the non-union voters. And rightfully so.

I was going to rage against the criminals we have in Washington, and around the country who give us laws to follow, yet make themselves exempt. Then I said, “What the heck!” Why let a bunch of murderers and film flam artist ruin my life?
It is time to keep life simple and fun. Being a God believing man, I know how the whole story shakes out. This world takes a dive into the crapper, and just as it is about to implode our Lord and Saviour steps in and returns this Earth to the Eden God intended it to be. In the mean time, I got some things to do this summer. Bowling! yes, once again I am bowling two summer leagues. My Tuesday league is pretty amazing. Probably due to the simple fact that the average age of almost all of the bowlers is 112. Not really, but there are many who are the back side of 70. Which is awesome, because many of them are good. I guess it is no wonder why I like golf and bowling, other than the simp[le facts that I am not to shabby at either one, and I can participate for most of my life span.
Also got to get some fishing in this summer. I am going to join a small fishing club that my dad belonged to when he was alive. I will have to give it a once over. River banks tend to attract elements of our society that stink more than my favorite catfish bait. If all goes well though, I picture quite a few days if fishing with my two pups; BillWilly and B.W.. I have to get my money out of them, seeing I spent my retirement savings when they became ill this past year.
I also need to work on some road trips. Still want to get back to Laughlin Nevada for some golf and fishing on the Colorado River. I also want to try my hand at gold panning too.
Guess all in all I don’t have time to worry about junk I have no control over, though I sure I will from time to time. It is just nice to know, that whatever the heck is going on around me, I still will be enjoying myself.

MILLER: Conservatives aren’t paranoid, the IRS really is out to get them – Washington Times.
The left likes to make conservatives out to be crazy, conspiracy theorists — using terms “black helicopter” and “tin foil hats” to mock them. However, as the old saying goes, “Just because you’re paranoid, doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.”
After two years of denials, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) finally admitted that it had abused its power by going after conservative groups who oppose big government during the 2010 election.
