How disagreements get settled by men
A little over a year and a half ago I discovered the Hive. I watched and listened for a while seeing what was going on. At the time you had four or five people who ran the show. They would insult and harass anyone who disagreed with them. And then like now you had the bigot/racist who continues with us. And then like now he would attack latinos at will. he would claim not to be a bigot but his words betrayed him.
So I started to call him on his hate. Needless to say he wasn’t happy about it. So in his sparkling vernacular he claimed no one would look him in the eye and call him abigot and a racist. I disagreed with him and told him I would.
So again his using winning ways he started to call me a coward. And repeated his claim over and over that no man would call him a bigot and racist to his face.
So I offered to meet him at the fountain downtown in Modesto. We were supposed to meet at noon one day. I was about 15 minutes early and sat by the fountain. He was sitting under the trees and just a few minutes after 12 he stood up and came over to face the building. A camera strap was hanging out of his pants.
I walked over to him and said “are you heaton?” He said yes. I told him I thought he was a bigot and a racist. He looked shocked. And yes it was then the chin took on a life of its own. We talked for a few minutes, after a bit we started to get along. I told him about my family and that because of them I choose to stay anonymous on the Hive. He said he understood.
We did get along, because as men if that hadn’t happened we couldn’t have gotten along at all. Sometimes things have to come out and not stay covered.
The peace between us lasted until the topic of a womans right to choose came up on the Hive. I’m for it and he’s not.
The bad feelings came out and have never gone away.
And thats the way we met.
Many of you know the rest.
And regardless of what anyone says …that’s the way it happened.

What’s more, TS… I may disagree with you. Okay, I do most of the time, but at least you brought it out in the open. And you’re not afraid to go before City Council meetings.

I know what the truth is and you stated it exactly correct. The same similar thing happened to me, just a little different story. Don’t worry to much about what you know to be the truth. That’s what counts and makes a man a man.

All I can say is if it seems outlandish and abnormal, it problably is. Recently, I had a person say I held a gun to someones head in a Motel room. Of course I would never do anything like that. The only time that could possibly have happened time wise, was when I was transferred by the large company I worked for as a V.P. and stayed at the Co. expense at the Holiday Inn while our new home was being finished so we could move into it. But to hear the story here it’s as if I were a Charlie Manson or something. Some things (most) need no comment if you know what I mean.
I know you to be an honorable person and consider you a friend. It will stay that way. Kudos.
No offense to the real offenders. But there is no comparison to your integrity or value to community between you and him or them. Hard to contribute for those others that sit on their fat ars all day long waiting for the county or school check to come in.

But I do remember one of the 10 or so times I have seen you in my life, I was woken up at about 2 in the morning because your girlfriend was kicking you out of her house because you were out of control. You had your sister pick us up because your girlfriend threatened to call the police if you drove away with me. My mom came and got me a couple of days later. Those are the memories I have of you. I always had to be picked up because you were too drunk to take care of yourself, let alone a child. You were not the doting single father you claim to be.

I have been on the HIVE well over a year, I commented many times before I started writing blogs, just to clear that up.
As far as the quivering chin, truthseekers was only clarifying as to why he was calling Jheaton that name. I think you are showing your bias on this matter.
I actually did not really pay attention to that until after Heaton mentioned that, I could careless and over looked that because it does not matter except to heatons ego.
truthseekers and heaton need to make a peace treaty between them and put the matter to rest.
