I absolutely understand the sentiment, but as someone who grew up in a household where English was a second language I am uncomfortable with the in-your-face-do-it-or-leave mentality. I have grown up speaking three languages – English, Spanish and Italian – and learned one more (French) in school. I think, if we were smart, we would teach children to spek as many languages as possible as a way to insure American rremains viable in a global economy. But that is just my opinoin….and BTW – I spek all those languages very poorly (tee hee).
