Top executives from a bankrupt California solar energy company pleaded the Fifth Amendment more than a dozen times Friday in a congressional hearing that went nowhere but gave members the opportunity to pose dozens of questions about the loss of a half billion dollars in government loans.
Solyndra Inc. CEO Brian Harrison and the company’s chief financial officer, Bill Stover, had notified the House Energy and Commerce Committee they were going to invoke their Fifth Amendment right to decline to testify to avoid self-incrimination.

I watched the live stream this morning and Crawdad’s Hole had a live blog going on at the same time.
Disgusting how the D’s on the committee were all about covering for the fraud. And Waxman with his BS on how it was unconstitutional to continue to question witnesses who had invoked.
I truly, truly hope this does not get swept under the rug and that it brings down that whole Chicago house of cards!

I feel bad for old style democrats who have lost their party. Just like us conservatives have lost ours to RHINOS. And with the two top republican candidates being non-conservatives, I think our whole system is rigged.

Obama payoffs, His campaign donors get a huge slice of the Stimulus pie. My understanding was that they were making solar panels then throwing them in the garbage, sounds more like they’re cooking the books. Looking forward to seeing these criminals deposed and their cohorts who will snitch them off.

And nobody on the Swarm wants to talk about the Solyndra debacle because it looks bad on Obama. It was a total scam and every Dem knows it. If this happened under Bush, there would be a textbook case of Dems Gone Wild.
