You know if this guy was white, and he was labeled a Christian, it would be plastered all over the alphabet soup news channels.

Aziz Yazdanpanah, a Muslim, didn’t like his daughter’s non-Muslim boyfriend and was exhibiting stalker behavior. “She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion.”
Again and again we have seen honor killings in which fathers kill daughters who are dating non-Muslims or have supposedly besmirched the family honor by some sexual indiscretion. Lt. Todd Dearing says that motive isn’t important — which is generally only the case when Islam is involved.

So sad… I can’t imagine a father ever killing his beloved daughter for any reason… this just makes me sick, I hadn’t realize that was what was behind this senseless killing. There is a huge trial going on in Canada about this very issue. A father killed his first wife and two daughters by running their car into a lake… because they brought shame in their lifestyle. What kind of “religion” promotes this?

It is very sad. One thought that comes to mind is that some Muslims can’t assimilate their religious views to their new countries laws and freedoms. I am sure some are not happy with the options, choices, and freedoms that the USA and Canada’s laws provide to them. I was just reading about the case you are speaking of. My biggest concern is that the media here in the states rarely mentions religion if Muslims are involved. But will wildly speculate if the believe a murderer is a Christian.

Just watched this on CNN, the man killed his two daughters and his son along with his wife, as they were opening up Christmas presents he shot them in the head one by one but he shot his brother-in-law several times. Muslim’s celebrating Christmas, I take it his family converted to Christianity and he did not.
He called 911 and said he was shooting “people” that’s a clue to how he had no longer seen his daughters,son and wife as family members. Horrifying to think about.
