The eyes in that tranquil face are heavy with having seen too much of the misery of men.”
You don’t believe he said it. I know. Neither did I. Get the book. Notice that the typical Trudeau sarcasm and condescension are gone. Now the Lord Protector of the Realm fawns and scrapes.
Indeed, says Trudeau: “Everyone knows that the Communists summarily rushed to the gallows or to jail many of the great landed proprietors. It was the genius of Mao Tse-tung to realize the extent to which his revolution must depend on the peasants, and he mercilessly suppressed the class that inspired in these peasants awe, respect, and submissiveness towards outworn traditions.”
This you still may not believe, even if you read the book yourself. Here, Trudeau not only justifies Mao Tse-tung’s mass murders – he applauds them. They are good, he says. They are necessary. They prove Mao’s genius.

Not really, Wayne. We currently have a Conservative in Stephen Harper heading up the Prime Minister`s office and Parliament. In Canada`s defense, we have a pretty sound economy and not a lot of housing meltdowns (foreclosures). It is a socialist country in many respects, but there are bastions of conservatism in more of the rural areas and outside of Toronto.

CO, then that is no different from the United States, most of the conservatives are in the rural areas. Actually I thought Canada’s healthcare was really good, but now you say it ain’t that great….so what’s wrong with it.
Also as far as socialism the United States is knee deep into socialism due to the workers unions……so what is the difference? other than the US has almost 300 million citizens and numerous other tribal nations within the sphere of the United States.
I think the United States should absorb Canada..what do you think about that?

Here are the pros and cons of Canada
Pros – Sound, stable economy; peaceful nation; good int’l reputation; higher life expectancy than the US, 80 years for men, 83 for women; universal health care
Cons – Higher prices for food, energy, housing

CO, if the Canadian Elite are praising communism then how long before the majority will accept the new form of communism. How far does the pendulum swing towards socialism in Canada right now?
Canada is next in line to be controlled by the Communist Chinese, Canadian ports will become Chinese ports and America will be fighting on our North and to our South….
