President Tyler’s Grand Kids

Man, this guy must have been releated to Tony Randall or Anthony Quinn!

Born in 1790, John Tyler was our 10th President. He took office in 1841 after William Henry Harrison died. And he has two living grandchildren!

Not great-great-great-grandchildren. Their dad was Tyler’s son.

How is this possible? The Tyler men have a habit of having kids very late in life. Lyon Gardiner Tyler, one President Tyler’s 15 kids, was born in 1853. He fathered Lyon Gardiner Tyler Jr. in 1924, and Harrison Ruffin Tyler in 1928.

He is included in JFK’s “Profiles in Courage”. Pretty good story.

Hmm…I was thinking maybe he was related to Steven Tyler! 😉 That was a seriously lame joke since Tyler wasn’t really his original last named. He had a nice Italian last name, but he chose to change it…You probably already knew that! 🙂 Your writing really is quite interesting, I will be back for more reading! Take care, Gabby

His real last name is Tallarico. That has such a nicer ring to it…His whole name Steven Victor Tallarico. I guess you can tell I am very proud of my Italian heritage! 🙂 I am just surprised you seriously didn’t know Steven’s real last name.

He should have stuck with the real name. Makes him sound even cooler than he already is! My talents lie in old cartoon trivia, redneck/hillbilly nonsense, golf, the gym, and my beloved BEER!
Italian heritage huh? Over the past few months I gotten into posting recipes from food blogs; Foodies as they like to be called. I did this because I was going to go postal from all of the crap going down in DC. I needed a break. I have me a bunch of reall nice folks, and I have learned politics and food work well together. I have also found many blogs that are related to writing. Also, a lot of nice folks too. Everybody has been very nice to me, and I have made a point to try to relax abit from my constant rantings from the far right point of view. 🙂
