So how long until “the big one” hits California?

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit the Philippines Monday, reportedly killing a child.
The child was crushed by a concrete fence from a damaged home, The Associated Press reported from the Office of Civil Defense. The quake struck northeast of Dumaguete, Negros Island reportedly causing some to flee their jobs, schools and public places.

    A sad news. Here in Japan, it will soon be a year from the big earthquake. SInce then someone says every day “Soon the next one under our feet!”…Prepare for it, but don’t be desperate. Live each day with the best effort – that is my slogan.

    So sad that it killed a child. Hopefully these earthquakes are relieving stress on the plates so that maybe the big one won’t be that big. I hope and pray!
