There is no denying that Tiger woods is one of the best golfers of all time, though only on the course. Outside of the ropes, he has always been less than average. His entire, fabricated, family man facade was blown up with wife’s 9 iron, a wrecked truck, all of the porn gals popping up.
He has attempted to repair his image, but the real Tiger has not changed his stripes. It is too bad, he will never attain his goal of being the greatest golfer ever, because a person must have the same qualities off the course, as they do on it: Honest, polite, and respectful. Something Tiger is not. Here is his recent interview with Alex Miceli. Shows you all that you needed to know about the Paper Tiger.
The news conference at PGA National turned awkward when Alex Miceli, a Golfweek senior writer and contributor to Golf Channel, asked Woods if he considered being a Navy SEAL at the height of his career.
“I’ve already talked about everything in the book. I’ve already commented on everything, Alex,” Woods said.
“Then I must have missed you answering that question,” Miceli replied.
“Well, I’ve already commented on the book. Is that in the book? Is it in the book?” Woods said.
Miceli replied he had not seen the book.
“You’re a beauty, you know that?” Woods said, forcing a smile.
Miceli said Steinberg’s statement suggested something was wrong with the excerpt and he wanted to know if it was true. Woods paused for a moment, said with indifference, “I don’t know,” then stared at him for nearly five seconds and said, “Have a good day.”

ago today Texasdeclared its independence from Mexico and became the Republic of Texas. We were a sovereign nation before joining the Union by treaty which is why the Texas flag flies at the same height as Old Glory. We have a rich history of brave men and women whose fortitude, independence and maybe just downright stubbornness have given us our reputation of pride and a love for our state that runs deep in our hearts.
From the Great Plains to the Gulf Coast, the Big Bend to the Piney Woods we are a state of diverse climates and culture. I am a Texan born and bred! If I could live anywhere in the world, I still would choose Texas. Give me land, lots of land with starry skies above. Don’t fence me in!
This one is a rerun but one of my favorites about my favorite part of…

Yup, it is finally Friday. While there is a part of me that wants to play the TGIF card, the other part of me; Coach-Billy, really misses MTWTh! Why you ask? because there are no golf matches are practices. This is one of the awesome perks of my job; coaching boy’s varsity golf. I am still in shock, even after 5 years of doing this, that God has blessed me with this opportunity.
Besides The Lord, I have to give thanks to my jr. high P.E. coach who introduced me to the sport, and to my pop who bought my first set of sticks, which I still have, and encouraged me to join my high school team because, “I could play some really nice courses for free.”
If you would have told the 18-year-old Hillbilly, that he would be playing his favorite local course 30 years later, as a coach, he would have said, “No way brother.” Don’t forget, I was 18 in 1983! Your Hillbilly was a ” Hulkamanic” then, and now brother!
So I guess the point, if there is one, to this story, is that ya never know what one, small activity, under taken at an early age, will lead you. Actually, it is not the event, but the Event Planner who resides above us that leads us to places we would never find on our own!
