IT's My Thoughts

My sister sent this to me on Facebook and thought I’d share it with my fellow bloggers. It reminds of when my elder brothers and sisters reminisce about the good old days when they were kids. 

It’s also a stark reminder of how things once used to be and how things are now.  It’s written by David Eisner.  I’m not sure who he is but I enjoyed reading this and my sister did get a little emotional when she read it to me over the phone.

    One of the hardest things for me to observe is lack of respect for police officers, or most anyone in authority. When did “pull off to the side of the road” become “speed up and try to get away?”

    I was lucky enough to grow up like this and raised my children much the same way. I can’t believe that people have voluntarily given up their freedom, their parental authority and turned their lives over to government in order to save themselves the responsibility of living with their own decisions….
