President Obama’s senior campaign adviser David Axelrod pushed back Sunday on Republicans for highlighting the lack of comprehensive immigration reform as a failed Obama promise. The president’s ongoing squabble with the GOP on this issue is indicative of how the two camps are trying to court Hispanic voters ahead of the election. Always blaming others for their failed miserable policies.

“To say because you have an implacable group of Republicans in the Congress who simply aren’t to let that move, that the president hasn’t kept his promise, is a little bit disingenuous,” Axelrod said on CNN’s State of the Union. “The president has tried to get [immigration reform], he has initiated those actions. Can’t the mayor and the police chief be removed from office for this?

The city of Los Angeles is taking its sanctuary title more seriously than most by ordering police officers to stop enforcing a state public safety law because it creates an “unfair burden” for illegal immigrants.

An unfair burden is not the words we’ve come to understand the federal U.S. Constitution under such circumstances. On the other hand, we also don’t support sanctuary cities, or any privilege albeit, Obamacare, Swine flu vaccines, licensing, or otherwise for those who have willfully and knowingly broken our laws being here in the first place.

A few weeks ago the mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, directed the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to stop impounding the vehicles of unlicensed drivers for 30 days as per state law. It should not come as any surprise that anti-American Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villagairosa opposes SB1070, the Arizona anti-illegal aliens/immigration law currently being debated by the Supreme Court.  He makes his insane comparison to immigrants legally coming to America through Ellis Island and those illegally entering America through the southern border with Mexico and cannot see the vast difference between the two.  Well, he does see the difference, but he won’t tell you, or his multitude of illegal alien supporters and supporters of illegal aliens.  Says Antonio, “The American experience is an immigrant experience. I watched Bill O’ interview the twit who is running this project. Billy asked her what she would do, if she were “Czar” of America. She could not even answer! She knows the word illegal is the correct term for folks who come to our nation illegally.

Bucket List: How About Fun List?

I follow a blog by Leslie Carter that deals with her, and others “Bucket List.” This got me thinkin’ about why do so many folks want to experience such extreme life experiences before the go to the wrong side of the dirt?

Seeing that I am not such of an extreme dude, here are a few of mine. I want to camp on the Colorado river in Arizona for two weeks. I know of a few really swell fishing holes I found years back while on vacation at my grandparent’s vacation home.

I want to travel the USA in my truck, and camper( which I do not own yet!) and visit as many public golf courses and watering holes as I can.

I want to hit golf balls into the Grand Canyon! I have done this activity in the foothills of Central Cali, where I live.

OK, I better stop now because I am sure everybody’s heart is a poundin’ out of their chest just reading this!

Yup, those are my bowling scores from my first four games in over 15 years. I used to carry a 170 average. Even took a few bowling…aka screw off classes in college. I have myself into two different leagues for the summer. Since I am off every summer, I figured I would throw in some bowling to go along with the golf and weight lifting. If you take a gander, two out of my three activities are beer user-friendly:)

Over the next few weeks, I am going to see if I can’t re-capture the old form. I figure if George Foreman could do it, why not me? Thing is, I doubt if I am going to make millions off of this deal. I guess my reward is fun and memories, and that is much more important than money.
