May of 1942 was a desperate time for the Allies in the South Pacific. Japanese expansion had been literally unchecked for the first six months of the war. It was only the bravery of the outmatched men of the Navy, Army and Marines that stood between the Japanese and the land down under.

This was the first battle fought exclusively between the two fleet’s aircraft carriers and the first major naval battle in which the two groups never came into close enough contact to see each other. Their planes were the only ones who carried forward the battle to a hellish effect.

In the end, both sides knew that victory was imperative to survival. On the Japanese side, it was survival of the tide forward which would help them establish a new boundary. For the Allies, it was desperation which meant the stemming of that tide and the preservation of…

Must Be Doing Something Right: Got Folks Contacting The Brass

Yup, found out that two people in the last year have made it a point to contact my employer and try to say that I am writing racist, and bigoted threads on company time. Of course, working for a public entity they tried to tie in the ripping off, or theft of the tax payer’s dime. No need in getting the facts straight that I am allowed to use the puter for personal reason during breaks and lunches.

I also got a kick out of how one of these folks tried to say that people who read my personal views, and other materials that I re-blog, would think that my district was in support of “ALL” of them! What a hoot these libsters are when they don’t agree with you.

So here is what I posted at the site that this sub-human dwells at:
Welcome To The Dance MHoffman;
I won’t bore ya with the all of the details, but somebody using a gmail account, and the letters mhoffman took the time to e-mail my place of employment with some articles of mine. Sadly, they had been altered by this hoffman person. I was easily able to point this out. Also, every other charge this person made, was easily dealt with. Bottom line: somebody has tried to mess with one of my sources of income, which is one of the three things that I will deal with by all means necessary to stop. I have a pretty good line on who this person is. Sometimes, people just make choices that they are not willing to pay the price for making, hoffman at g-mail, you don’t stand a chance against me. 🙂

I have also been able to obtain a IP address for this person, but it shows some place in Virginia, which I am sure is not where this stain resides. Here is the IP address and maybe someone can give me a hand on figuring out where this person really is from.

…the legacy.

Saw this article yesterday. Thought I’d write something about it.

Because South Africa is not still reeling from the previous oppression.

It’s now reeling  from the new oppressors.

The ANC government.

And everybody is affected by the new rule. The only people that finds it a good thing are the people in high places, people in Government positions, and those that have been directly benefitting from BEE and EE and a whole bunch of other initials. Regardless of if they have the knowlegse and experience or not. Only skin colour makes any difference in this new oppression.

This, however, is not a political post as such, because really, it makes no difference what I think or say about this, a whole bunch of people are in any case going to call me whatever they want. Racist being one of them.

And be that as it may…

Idiots On the Left

Barack Obama last night made thee official switch from opposing gay marriage to supporting gay marriage. In fact Obama’s had about six different instances when his stance on gay marriage has changed.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

“1996: “I favor legalizing same-sex marriages” was an answer included on a signed questionnaire to a Chicago gay community newspaper when Mr. Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. In 2011, a White House aide said someone else filled it out.

2004: As a U.S. Senate candidate, Mr. Obama tells Chicago public television “marriage is between a man and a woman.” In the same interview, Mr. Obama said he wanted to ensure gays and lesbians have “the rights of citizenship” but noted, “I don’t think marriage is a civil right.”

2008: Mr. Obama, running for president, again says marriage should be limited to unions between a man and a woman. “For…

Colonialist's Blog

The origins of the name Kaffirs to describe a race group in Sri Lanka were probably much the same as for others from Southern and Eastern Africa – adopted from the Arabs by the Portuguese in their slave trading, and then taken over from the Portuguese by the British at the same time as they absorbed some Portuguese areas into the Empire. The etymology is interesting, and it is not clear whether the original pre-Islamic meaning of ‘one who hides or covers’ was taken, or the subsequent extension which meant ‘unbelievers’.

Anyway, there is a major difference regarding the term in Sri Lanka as compared with Africa. There, the group have embraced the name, continue to use it, and are proud of it.

In South Africa the term is skated around with quite ridiculous and unnecessary delicacy. Imagine the reaction in this country to a…
