The Obama Hustle

In 1968, the political world was shocked when President Lyndon Johnson, running for reelection just four years after a landslide victory, was held beneath 50% of the vote in the Democrat primary in New Hampshire. Sen. Eugene McCarthy scored a shocking 41.5% of the vote against the incumbent President.

The result confirmed Johnson’s weakness going into the November general election. Within weeks, Sen. Robert Kennedy announced he would seek the Democrat nomination for President and Johnson announced that he would not. LBJ was bowing out of his reelection bid.

Today, the Obama reelection campaign is reeling from his disastrous performance in the Democrat primaries in Arkansas and Kentucky. In Arkansas, an unknown lawyer who has raised only $2,000 scored 42% of the vote. In Kentucky, 40% of the Democrat vote went to “uncommitted”. These results mirror those from a few…

New Age Colonialism: West Buying Up Third World?

[T]he western powers are left with the one option where they rule supreme: the military. NATO is planning its new global strategy with Libya as the working model. Smothered in rhetoric of “human rights”, “democracy” and “responsibility to protect”, the former colonial powers are planning their new “land grabbing”.

NATO Summit Emphasizes Georgia, Baltic And Balkan States

Saakashvili continued to fawn and even lashed out at the new anti-NATO, Occupy demonstrators, calling them “relics of the past” and saying that the Cold War relic that is NATO was “more relevant now than ever before.” The disconnect was not only evident from the Georgian side. NATO reciprocated.

Summer Vacation Is Beer!..OOPS, I Mean Here

T-minus 70 days and counting. The last day of work for the school year ended with 18 holes of golf. It is a bitter-sweet end; I am losing a first year co-worker who is just awesome at the job, and thanks to the immoral union practice of seniority realignment, an incompetent employee is keeps their job. That’s public unions for ya!

Anyway, my Friday bowling league starts tomorrow, followed by my Tuesday bowling league next week. I am also slowly starting the process to adopt another best friend. I still have three really great pups, and I love them to death, but I am stilling needing to fill the paws of Dude. Toughest part about this search, is that I always want to take in all of them! I still dream of having 20 fenced acres in the foothills where I could keep em’ all!

I also plan to blog a lot more than I have in the past week. I now have the identities of both the guys who have contacted my employer, and my cyber tech army buddy nailing down the location of the person who used my work e-mail to impersonate me and sign me up to porn sites. We are hoping this person used either their home or work computer. Much easier to prove who did it.

Well, hope all of ya are having great days and nights:)
God Bless
