This whole Africa engagement of Obama has had little reporting. Here is a bit of an update. Can you imagine if it was Bush? When is enough enough? Is the military a social service agency? I Am Back!

But not for long! The vacation is kicking in to high gear, and I am up to the challenge. I have also been taking a break from politics. I catch a quick glance here and there, but I ain’t letting any jack ass politician, president, gubbenr, ect… mess with my VACA!

So for the next week or two I will pop up here for a brief note or two. But for now, between the two bowling leagues, free bowling, golf, gym, and fishing, the Hillbilly is a very busy man.

I don’t understand the concept of equal outcome.  So many people up in arms because other people have achieved a high level of success and willing to have government steal from those industrious folks to fund their own agendas.

In order for there to be equal economic outcome there would need to be equal intelligence, talent, and persistence.  One of my favorite quotes was made by the 30th President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge.  “Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence.  Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.  Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.  Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.  Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.  The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

Justa A Kwinkie Dink? Big Pharmaceutical Companies In Illinois

This is an interesting subject. Just do an internet search of pharmaceutical companies that are in Illinois. Makes you wonder why Barry and his thugs push federally mandated health care and insurance. I was looking at a bottle of a family members meds, and Abbott Labs is the company, and Illinois is the state. I am sure there are a lot of states where these companies have offices. I wonder how much do they donate to various candidates? I also wonder how they pick the states to locate in.
