For What Its Worth

Can’t believe I am using a title from a Hippie group like the Buffalo Spring Field band. As many of you know, I have taken a huge break from commenting on national politics. While it has been a refreshing break, and I plan to continue to post 99% of non political stuff, I just have to break the silence today.

I have just about resigned to the fact that our federal government no longer answers, no listens to the average hard-working citizen. I believe that the percentage of AHWC is probably no more than 40% of our population. This leaves a huge block of folks that want stuff for nothing, because they believe they are entitled to it. Mixed into this free-loading population, are the folks that are willing to give the fruits of their labor to these bottom feeders. I stumbled upon an article that talks about Repubs and dems, The Gang of 8, who are working on the sham and shaft, known as immigration Reform. Low and behold, Sr Marco Rubio is part of this group of traitors.
http://dailycaller.com/2013/04/05/immigration-bill-would-import-1-million-workers-per-year/
It’s also a problem for Sen. Marco Rubio, who is simultaneously helping to write the bill and preparing to run for president in 2016 as a supporter of the middle-class….

This Hillbilly believes we 35%-40%’ers will have to clump together in states like Texas, Arizona, Missouri, and Idaho and work our way into school boards, PTA, city council seats, and so on. Completely purge any folks who are of the 60%ers out of any type of positions that have any say over our culture, values, religion, borders, and language. It will work, because we did it back in 1776.

OK, I said my peace, so I will now go back into political black.

Well John, I hope you are wrong and this is just one of those swings from conservative to liberal like with the Jimmy Carter mess, and then the return to sanity with Reagan. Then again with the dumbed down electorate and 48% on some form of handout, millions of illegal aliens ( undocumented democrats ), we may not be able to right the ship before the whole thing capsizes. I would suggest not remaining silent but confront the left, socialist, atheist, insanity at every opportunity.

We need to see the old JH3 raging against the man (Obama).

… agreed. However, it would be ‘war’ in the cities. The major cities are full of progressive, “give me everything for nothing, while I save trees, and kill unborn babies, protest to feed the world but expect somebody else to do it, blah, blah, blah.” You know the type and they are swarming within the cities. Hard times are a commin’.

There are a few problem I see with your idea:
Right now about 50% of Americans are employed (155-157 Million or so, including those in armed forces), compared to 35%-40% you call hard-working. I would think very few of those who work would call themselves freeloaders, certainly not 30-50 million people. Of course, everyone thinks that they work hard and everyone else is slacking off, so it will be hard to pick out hard-working from hardly working.
Giving fruits of one’s labor to “bottom-feeders” is the opposite of “freeloader”. These people have to work harder than AHWC to support others, so they have to qualify as AHWC, whether you like it or not 🙂
About 35% of Americans are under 18 or over 65. Most of them don’t work and I hope you agree that they have pretty good reasons not to. In your calculation, most of these people are freeloaders too. At least to most seniors, it’s not fair to call them freeloaders. Kids – fine, especially those that won’t help with chores or clean up their room.
If you want to have 35%-40% rule over the 60-65%, it sounds like what you want is a minority dictatorship, not a democracy (which, though, may preferable to being ruled by 1% as is the case now). Or, if you just want to move more conservatives in from other states to make them into majority, and/or push out liberals to other states, there is a good chance that Democrats take over more states in the Senate and House, and will control federal laws, which could override the state laws these states make.
Finally, ironically, 3 of the 4 states you named (except Texas) are “free-loader states”, ones that get more money from Washington than they send there. (http://www.economist.com/blogs/dailychart/2011/08/americas-fiscal-union) Kind of hard to claim to be a flagship state for hard work when other states have to send you money.

… which, I would assume, is exactly why the cities are in the shape they are. Texas has it’s own problems, such as the public school system (Cscope I think it’s called), Illegals, and their large cities as well.

There is no escape from what is to come on earth. But there IS protection, comfort and hope in Christ. I do think it would be more comfortable to be surrounded by like minded and spirited people.

All in all, there is no putting the genie back into the bottle…

Howdy X, glad to hear from you my friend. My point, though buried in Hillbilly blusterings:)! is: Those of us, and I am describing my group of friends and some family, need to move to places where we can be with folks who see things as we do. Look at San Fransico. A lot of people move there to be with like minded folks. I have no problem with that. I don’t want a minority to rule over a majority, but there is nothing wrong with getting into the “blood stream” of a city, county, or state, and becoming a majority by proving that “our” ideas and views allow for a better quality of life for everybody, then we will be the majority.

My definition of “freeloader” is somebody who is able to work, but chooses not to and lives off of government programs our handouts from individuals. 18-to 118 age does not matter….I will continue this response later, lunch is awaiting me:)
