CNN’s national security analyst Peter Bergen twice suggested that “right-wing extremists” could be behind Monday’s Boston Marathon bombings. Yet over an hour later, CNN reported that Boston Police were not holding anyone in custody as a suspect for the attack.
Appearing on CNN’s live coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing with host Jake Tapper, Bergen was asked to explain if the bombing could have been an act of terror. Bergen answered in the affirmative, and proceeded to name possible suspects depending on the type of explosive used.
Who were Bergen’s suspects? Al Qaeda and “right-wing extremists.”

You know, it’s so sad that at a time we should be standing together as Americans, people in the media have to be so polarizing.
In an earlier post I discussed why some people would be quick to blame the right wing (Boston, Tea Party, the significance of April 15th, wink, wink) and it’s happened.

well hand me a beer and double shot of ole number 7; hell forget the beer I’ll take the jack, but not the ass. all the media hype and the best they can do is speculate that some right wing tea party nut did this. Oh hells bells and panther tracks anyone with any sense knows who did this heinous thing,but because of fear of the left won’t say. So I will just say today we once again saw the moderate expression of love and its compassion at work.. will ever take credit? no for they fear reprisal’s, but as was said once they’ll be back,
