Amazing who fast 72 days of vacation passes! As Elvis sang, “Funny, how times slips away.” With the way all time seems to be moving, my 193 day work year will pass faster than a fart in a wind storm. I have been on the job long enough to know how each day will go. My own personal Ground Hog’s Day.
One good thing about returning to the daily grind, is the amount of time I can dedicate to this blog. I dial down my intake of politics during the summer. If I did not do this, I probably would blow up an unoccupied federal building. So much crap, and too few port-a-potties!

Sure, you take off the summer and the nation goes to hell. Iraq is falling, illegals are flooding over the border, Hamas has shot thousands and rockets into Israel, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal, Hillary is running a muck, and Obama is fiddling while Washington burns. All while you Mrs Hillbilly have been AWOL. Time to get back in the saddle and whip this place back into shape. : )
