16 days into the work year and I get the flu. This has not happened in years. I have been watching a couple of new programs on the boob tube: The Last Ship and The Strain. Both story lines revolve around a virus. One just flat kills you and the other turns you into a quasi zombie/vampire. Well the flu I got just turns you into a heap of achy joints and a gullet full of snot. I am going on four days, but at least I am back at work today not burning through my sick days. While I will never take a flu shot, can you say government conspiracy juice, I will say make sure to washing hands, and not rubbing your eyes.
