Nothing like trying to discuss fact with folks that are intolerant of said facts. I probably can earn a PhD on this subject, but my ADHD will slow me down. Anyway. I read an article that states if the Latino vote was removed from California’s gubernatorial race, Jerry Brown would have lost yesterday. OOPS, I keep forgetting white guys are not allowed to say such things. Love how the racist blast is tossed around instantly. Thing is, I did not realize “Latino” is a race! I previously stated that Obama would not have been elected if whites did not vote for him. Apparently this fact is not racist.
When I speak about my opposition to all illegal immigrants, I find many nice rational people, going postal because I must hate Latin folks. What the heck? The facts prove the vast majority of America’s illegal immigrants are from south of the border. Mexico and LATIN America. So apparently stating fact is now bigotry. Again, remember Latin is not a race. 25% plus of America’s incarcerated folks are illegal immigrants. Darn these facts. I also like to ask people why the NBA does not have a program to bring more non black players into their league? I believe 80% of the players are black. Imagine if the numbers were reversed? But just stating this fact does not make the NBA a racist organization.
So what the heck is my point? I think I am trying to say many folks are conditioned to shut up when stating certain facts, or simply discussing topics that are believed to be race related. Most of this has come from the nefarious folks who run our government. How better to control a population than to muzzle the voices of reason and stymie original thought?
