Slow, Lazy Hillbilly Days Of Summer

Ok, it might not be summer just yet, but lazy days? Yup! Been doin’ stuff around the barn, and have an all day golf tourney for my player who made league sections, on Monday. So I will be toolin’ around on a golf cart for 6.5 hours or so in the California foothills.

Don’t go missin’ me much, I will be back to pound the key board on Tuesday.

At a ceremony marking the 24th anniversary of the founding of Hamas, Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip Ismail Haniyeh said that Hamas may work for the “interim objective of liberation of Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem,” but that this “interim objective” and “reconciliation” with Fatah will not change Hamas’ long-term “strategic” goal of eliminating all of Israel:

“The armed resistance and the armed struggle are the path and the strategic choice for liberating the Palestinian land, from the [Mediterranean] sea to the [Jordan] river, and for the expulsion of the invaders and usurpers [Israel]… We won’t relinquish one inch of the land of Palestine.”

Broccoli Cranberry Slaw: Can I Get That To Go?

This is from one of my favorite new food sites: Savoring Every Bite. I am also brainstorming on a new internet business: Food making folks sign up, make their dishes for bloggers for others who pay for the service, then they are delivered. Don’t ask me about the nuts and bolts of it yet because I will have to have a few 12 packs to figure out the logistics myself!

Broccoli Cranberry Slaw

½ cup organic raw apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons agave – or more to your preferred sweetness

½ teaspoon Kosher salt

¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

½ teaspoon ground mustard

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

12 oz bag of broccoli slaw

2 organic apples, diced – remove skin if not organic

1 cup dried cranberries

½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Combine all dressing ingredients, from the vinegar to the olive oil in a jar and shake well. In a large bowl, combine the slaw, apples, cranberries and nuts. Pour vinaigrette over the slaw and mix well. Best to make several hours ahead or overnight to marry the flavors well. Makes about 8 one cup servings. For a main meal, add in chopped leftover turkey or chicken.

Conservatives And Food: Is There A Connection?

I am starting to think there are some connections. They easiest place to start is fishing and hunting. The obvious rugged individualist in me believes it is my moral obligation to provide grub for myself. Thing is, bbqing the meat might get old after 50 years or so!

While it is easy to kill and grill, it does not work so well when it comes to veggies, sweets, and some other stuff I have no idea how to make. If my belief that our economy and nation will some day implode, then I better get started in my “learnin” how to make my own viddles. Over the past few weeks, I have become aware of how many excellent blogs are food-based here at Word Press. So to all my gueest and new blogging friends I say hello, welcome, and hope you visit this right-winged nut Hillbilly often. Though I tend to blog less on weekends, and during my 70 plus days off every summer from work. It is hard to type with a golf club, barbell, or a beer in my hand!

If more people realized that there are a small minority of very powerful, rich, well connected people who are creating a world wide race war, in order to implement control over the masses. It is my firm belief that God created all people in his image, and though we may have or physical differences, we are still all God’s children. But there is evil in this world, who prey upon our good, honest, and trusting nature, to fool us into helping to create a One world Order. This Order needs to be put into place in order to allow for the complete control of the world’s population, and thus wealth, and power.

But w Christians understand that Good will prevail over Evil in the end.

Nevertheless, those are the curious reasons given for maintaining mass 3rd world immigration into predominately White nations, and frankly, those reasons don’t make any sense in today’s tight labor market. A Message From Mr. Cain

Dear Patriots and Supporters,

As you probably heard yesterday, a troubled Atlanta business woman used national media outlets to promulgate a fabricated, unsubstantiated story about a 13 year affair with me. I am writing you today to assure you that this woman’s story is completely false.

I do know Ms. White. I have helped her financially at times over the past few years, just as I have helped many friends and acquaintances throughout the years. I thought Ms. White was a friend in need of a supportive hand to better her life.

Ms. White has made it apparent that she was abusing the friendship.

But now I am asking for your friendship. I am also asking for your prayers and support. This is a trying time for my family, my campaign, and for me. It is also a trying time for our country as we are all distracted from the truly important issues facing our nation.

This evening I have an important speaking engagement at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, where I will be outlining my foreign policy and national security plan. While recent events have taken a toll on me, the people in the audience this evening will not know it. I will deliver my message with vigor and enthusiasm.

Let me assure you, I am not deterred. America’s future is too important. We will continue on this journey to make America great once again.

Who Is The Real Herman Cain?

I know I have questioned his ties to the Federal Reserve and Anti-Christ Kissenger, but what about the latest lady to come out of the cheap seats and claim they had a 14 year affair? Herman denies it, but of course, all the media, the dems, and libs, have already found him guilty.

I will take him at his word, until it is proven that he did have an affair with this lady. If he lied, then, that is a deal breaker for me personaly. But the fact remains, that Bill Clinton, had women who coulld prove that he had affairs with him, and at least one, was raped. So why the free pass for Bubba, and the lynching for Herman? If true, Herman broke no laws, and was actually behaving in an acceptable way in the eyes of liberals every where.

I believe this is nothing more than an attempt from the RHINO’s and the DNC to discredit a candidate that would make it ver difficult for Barry Hussein to attack. Herman is black, and Barry could not go to the race card. Herman could not be labeled “not qualified” due to his lack of experience, because Barry was lacking too.

I believe Barry’s handlers want him to run against a guy like Newt: He has a lot of baggage that is public, and Barry could focus on that, instead of his record over the past four years.

The folks that are getting the raw end of this deal is the American Conservative Christian voters.
