If you think that this exclusively black/Chinese/Russian crime, then wouldn’t you agree that it makes much more sense for the media to report the race of the suspect when he’s white, because that’s more unusual and therefore more newsworthy?
Besides, you can usually tell Russians and Chinese by their names anyway.
Maybe the media isn’t talking about race because they don’t think that race is relevant in these types of crimes. So if you think that the media is wrong not to talk about race, you must think that a pimp’s race is relevant irrespective of whatever the media chooses to cover. So why do you think that race of every pimp matters?
