I think it is the Travel Channel that airs Man vs Food, and now called Man vs. Food Nation. I like to see how different places throughout America shovels up their grub. My favorite shows have the host, Adam Richmond, attempting a “hotter than heck” food challenge. Reason being, is that there is not a dish on the planet that is so hot, that this Hillbilly can’t eat it.
Yeah, I hear it all the time from some of my pals. “You would never be able to handle the infamous Ghost Pepper.” Of course, these are the same chuckle heads that bet me I could not eat 5 fresh Habanero peppers. That earned me a week’s supply of Keystone Light:)
So, back to the show. I was thinking that somebody should go into business making the various meals shown on this show. If you have not seen the show, here is a glimpse:

I watch this show a lot. I even had the mistake watching it with a freshly wisdom toothless mouth. Ouch.

I make the mistake of watching after I eat….

We had a guy that worked with us say he can eat all kinds of hot things. He got up to use the rest room and we loaded his food with hot pepper and hot sauce. He was practically crying but didn’t want to show it. We had a good laugh at his expense.

Don’t get me wrong. I sweat, snot pours out, and slobber flows. But I get the food down the hatch and love every bite. 🙂

Hot food, not my thing. If my tongue burns so much I can’t taste anything for a week – why eat it then?
And I sweat more than enough when I exercise – don’t want to do it while I’m eating!
Never could get why people ate hot food – never been something I enjoyed.
But hey – to each his own, and I suppose with dudes – they always have something to prove not so 😉
